Common Issues Involves in Using Fogponic Technology

Agriculture can be seen as one of the most rewarding activities, regardless of whether it is done as a pass-time hobby in your personal garden or on a commercial scale. However, in order to successfully grow luscious plantations, the correct methods need to be used in the process. There are various traditional and modern methods that people use to grow their own plants, flowers and vegetables. From using the traditional soil method to other more advance methods of agriculture like hydroponic gardening and fogponic systems. Fogponic technology works similar to the way in which the hydroponic system works.

Common Issues Involves in Using Fogponic Technology

Both systems provide the plants roots with a fine liquid which contains vital nutrients for nurturing and growth. The liquid is consistently dispensed through a fogger or a nebulizer throughout the growing process. Fogging increases the amount of air exposure that the roots of the plant receive which means that it receives a richer amount of carbon dioxide in order for photosynthesis to take place. Although fogponics technology is one of the better methods which can be used for agriculture, there is a fair amount of equipment required in order to grow plants.

The equipment tends to take up a lot of space and this in turn can cause these essential and nutritional water droplets to evaporate, rendering a lot of the fog’s nutrients as useless. It also leads to unnecessary inconveniences like loss of water which also means wads of cash going down the drain. Inventor Brandon McDonald of Spring, TX who has been working in the agriculture industry for quite some time had noticed the problems involved in using fogponics technology. He just knew there had to be a better way, which inspired him to create the Fog Zombie.

The Fog Zombie – How Does it Work?

The Fog Zombie is a new innovative invention that functions similarly to a conventional mist maker. The mist maker automatically converts the nutrient-soaked water into a fine liquid that works to promote plant growth and sustenance. The invention also features a useful reservoir which allows for any unused water to be collected and recycled so that it can be reused for the plant root again, which saves on unnecessary costs and is great for the environment too. An added plus is that this artificially intelligent system is more compact which prevents any wastage on space that could cause water droplets to easily evaporate. A complete system which helps to promote and accelerate the plant growing process.
